Aussie John Peers and British partner Jamie Murray have caused a huge shock in the men’s doubles draw by ousting defending champions Jack Sock and Vasek Pospisil.

Sock and Pospisil, the No.3 seeds, looked poised to recover from two sets to love down but were unable to stop the irrespressible 13th seeds; Peers and Murray won 6-3 7-6(6) 6-7(5) 3-6 8-6.

The victory moves Peers and Murray through to the quarterfinals where they will face No.8 seeds Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares.

It is the first time Peers has advanced to the quarterfinals at the All England Club.
