Australian stars Lleyton Hewitt and Sam Stosur will headline the Saturday night action at the Sony Open in Miami when they take to Crandon Park’s Stadium court in blockbuster matches.

Hewitt will face the toughest test in tennis when he tackles No.1 seed Rafael Nadal, the Spaniard coming into the event after his earlier-than-expected loss at Indian Wells to Alexandr Dolgopolov.

Hewitt fought back from a 6-3 3-1 deficit to beat Robin Haase on Thursday, but can’t afford a similarly slow start if he is to contend with Nadal on Saturday night.

Following the Hewitt-Nadal match will be Stosur, who takes on big-hitting American prospect Coco Vandeweghe.

Stosur was solid in her opening round win over qualifier Kiki Bertens, and will be hoping for a similar result against Vandeweghe, a player she owns a 1-0 winning record against and who also came through the qualifying draw.

Should Stosur win that match, she faces a likely fourth-round meeting with world No.1 and defending Miami champion Serena Williams.
