Stanmore Wyverns coach Nicole Kriz has put together one of the most formidale men’s and women’s team in this year’s conference. The Wyverns making their debut in the ATL will be based out of one of Sydney’s most prestigious boy schools, Newington College.

The Stanmore Wyvern women’s team are seeded 3 in the preseason ATL Rankings, and are definitely are team to watch. Bringing together the experience of Monique Adamzcak, who last year won the NSW/ACT Conference and was a Runner-Up in the national conference and Aussie favourite Casey Dellacqua the team will be tough to beat.

Like the Women’s team the men’s Stanmore Wyverns team is also one to watch. A combination of experience and youth is the key for success, a combination that the Wyverns possess.

Jordan Thompson will be looking to continue his great Pro Tour form into the ATL, winning two titles this year. Australian Open Junior Boys Doubles Winner Jay Andrijic is a force to be reckoned with on the doubles court.

Mentored by former Davis Cup coach Wally Masur, the Wyverns could be the dark horse of the conference, and one to watch
