Some of Australia’s most promising youngsters will take to the courts at Flushing Meadows on Monday as boys’ and girls’ junior action continues on Day 8.

It comes the day after some stellar results for Aussies in the open ranks, with Lleyton Hewitt winning through to the fourth round in singles and Ash Barty, Casey Dellacqua and John Peers progressing to the doubles quarterfinals.

On Monday, Australian Open junior boys’ finalist Thanasi Kokkinakis opens his junior singles campaign, as do his Aussie compatriots Bradley Mousley and Naiktha Bains.
