A contingent of Aussie juniors are preparing for the US Open junior championships, which begin on Sunday.
In the boys’ draw, Brad Mousley will take on Spain’s Carlos Lopez Villa in the first round, while Harry Bourchier will face American Daniel Kerznerman. Australian Open boys’ finalist Thanasi Kokkinakis will play Japan’s Naoki Nakagawa for a place in the second round.
In the girls’ draw, Sara Tomic takes on 11th seed Mayo Hibi of Japan and Naiktha Bains will play Egypt’s Sandra Samir.
