Marinko Matosevic was one of several ATP and WTA pros featuring on the traditional Kids Day at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells, held on Saturday.

Matosevic was joined by world No.11 Marin Cilic and women’s top 30 player Varvara Lepchenko (pictured with Matosevic) on the day, which was attended by more that 1,000 children.

Before hitting balls with the kids for the 30 minutes on Stadium 3 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Matosevic took part in a Q&A session in which he gave the kids tips on how to become a professional player.

The joint ATP/WTA Indian Wells event begins this week in the Californian desert – it’s one of the richest on the tennis calendar and enjoys the highest crowd attendance of any tournament outside the Grand Slams.
