Luke Saville had a busy day winning both his second- and third-round matches on his way to a quarterfinal berth at Wimbledon.

Saville started by knocking out Romania’s Stefan Vinti in straight sets, 6-4 6-2, then followed up later in the day with a 7-6(4) 6-4 win over local hope Luke Bambridge.

But Saville’s day wasn’t done yet – he then took to the court with countryman Jordan Thompson to dispose of Christian Garin and Lucas Gomez also in straight sets, 7-5 6-1.

Saville will now take on sixth seed Nikola Milojevic of Serbia in the quarterfinals. Should Saville make it through, he could find himself up against fellow Australian Nick Kyrgios. Kyrgios, however, must defeat third seed Gianluigi Quinzi in the quarters.

Saville and Kyrgios are now the only Australians left in the boys’ singles draw after Jordan Thompson was ousted in the second round by 16th seed Frederico Ferre Silva.
