The Goldfields – St Ives International reached its climax yesterday with two international victories at the Australian Pro Tour event in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Canadian No.7 seed Erik Chvojka and Julia Glushko of Israel won the men’s and women’s titles, defeating No.1 seed Brydan Klein (WA) and Queenslander Isabella Holland respectively.

Local talent Klein dropped his first set of the tournament in the final, losing to Chvokja in a tightly contested three-set match. Chvojka defeated Nick Lindahl (NSW) in straight sets in the semi-final on Saturday.

Glushko produced her best performance of the tournament to defeat Holland in straight sets. Holland defeated No. 7 seed Sacha Jones of New Zealand to reach the final, while Glushko defeated local talent Jessica Moore (WA) in her semi-final.
