Are you or do you know a Year 9, 10 or 11 student with a passion for tennis and an interest in building your leadership skills? Or are you part of a Tennis Club or Association looking to strengthen your club’s future by empowering the next generation of leaders with fresh ideas and perspectives?

If you answered yes, the Tennis Victoria Future Leaders Program could be the perfect opportunity.

Since 2001, the Future Leaders Program has supported over 609 young leaders who have contributed more than 24,360 volunteer hours to 140+ local tennis clubs across Victoria. This program provides students with the opportunity to:

• Attend a three-day, Melbourne-based leadership camp from  23-25 September 2025
• Build teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
• Develop and deliver a community-based project in collaboration with their local tennis club
• Work alongside the Tennis Victoria team to make a meaningful impact

The program fosters inclusive, welcoming environments both on and off the court, helping create a strong and sustainable future for tennis in Victoria.

The Australian Open Experience

• All Future Leaders Graduates each year are also given the opportunity to attend a fun and action packed morning at the AO! Find out what last year’s Future Leader graduates got up to at the AO Experience, proudly presented in collaboration with Infosys. Click here for more information.
• A selected group of Future Leader graduates may also be selected to get involved in the Tennis Victoria Australian Open (AO) Work Force program. Implemented as a pilot program at this year’s AO, the selected Future Leaders volunteered to support the Kids On Court initiative, which has seen over 1,700 Hot Shots Tennis participants from 160 clubs, hit the main stage.
