27 January 2025 | Tennis Victoria

Monday January 20, began on a high note as Tennis Victoria’s 2024 Future Leaders gathered for the highly anticipated Australian Open (AO) Experience, proudly presented in collaboration with Infosys. Under sunny skies and filled with high spirits, the day started bright and early, with the Future Leaders meeting the Tennis Victoria team at 7 AM at Garden Square. Upon arrival, they were handed their official accreditation, granting them exclusive access to Kia Arena—an unforgettable opportunity to conduct their activities on one of tennis’s premier courts in Victoria.
The highlight of the morning was undoubtedly the tennis clinic, where the Future Leaders had the incredible chance to learn from tennis legend James Blake. A former world No. 4, Blake is renowned for his illustrious career, which includes 10 ATP singles titles and representing the U.S. in Davis Cup competitions. During the clinic, he guided the group through drills and shared key insights into technique and the value of teamwork.
Following the clinic, the Future Leaders enjoyed a light breakfast to recharge. They then explored the dynamic Infosys activation the ‘Infosys Fan Zone’, a cutting-edge showcase that highlights the transformative role of technology in tennis. Inside the Infosys Fan Zone, the Future Leaders played virtual reality tennis and had a chance to take a selfie with Rafael Nadal or Iga Świątek in an augmented reality, along with a whole host of other activities. From the interactive displays to innovative analytics tools, the activation offered a glimpse into how technology is revolutionising the fan experience at the AO.
The AO25 Experience left the Future Leaders inspired and energised, and was a great experience for all involved.
