17 July 2026 | Tennis Victoria
It’s fantastic that we are able to launch and open registrations for the upcoming season on Green Ball Super League. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the player pathway, Tennis Victoria is introducing a new and enhanced competition: the Green Ball Super League, which will compliment the newly developed Super 10s camps in Term 3. Please see below all the details about the league as well as how to register your interest.
Purpose
To deliver weekly, high‑quality Green Ball competition for aspiring players, complementing coaching programs, the Green Ball Series, and Super 10s Camps.
Background
The Green Ball Super League (GBSL) is being established in response to recent changes within the Victorian Green Ball pathway over the past six months.
During this period, the 10 & Under category was removed from the Australian Junior Pathway (AJP) competition following feedback from associations. In addition, the Super 10s program has transitioned to a camp‑based model, with players now coming together only 4–5 times per year for single‑day camps, supplemented by 2–3 interstate representative weekends.
Collectively, these changes have significantly reduced the volume of structured, high‑quality match play opportunities available to 10 & Under performance Green Ball players. The GBSL aims to address this gap by providing consistent, weekly competition aligned with the updated pathway.
Target Audience / Eligibility
GBSL is targeted to 10&u performance Green Players who have been involved in Super 10’s and are participating in the Green Ball Series.
