Why play tennis?

Unlike many sports, tennis can be enjoyed at all ages – you’re never too young or too old to play. At any age, whatever your motivation is, playing tennis provides physical, social, and mental benefits on and off the court, and is a great way to keep fit, have fun, and meet new friends.

Our purpose is to ensure everyone can play more often, how and when they want. We want every Victorian to have the choice to play this great game of ours in the morning, afternoon or evening, singles and doubles, in teams and individually, socially and competitively, in Regional Victoria and Metropolitan Melbourne.

Who can play tennis?

As a sport for life, there are plenty of ways you can get involved in tennis. From joining your local club or coaching program, to community-based programs, to competitive play opportunities, there is something to cater to all ages, genders, abilities, and backgrounds.
