Chadstone Tennis Club runs a team based internal competition on a Wednesday night for players wanting to experience competition play. Each week, teams of three people compete in a singles & doubles format. Each person plays one Singles and two Doubles matches.

The next season commences on Wednesday 22nd July. Matches are played at 7pm. The draw is registered on MatchCentre and connected to UTR. Entries close on Sunday 12th July.

To create a balanced competition, and opportunities for our starting out players, entry is limited to UTR 3.5 or below players. UTR isn’t always a true reflection, or if you do not have a UTR, you are welcome to register. Entry is not restricted to members – feel free to invite your friends to play.

Cost is $5 for members, $10 for non-members per night. New balls will be provided. Light costs will be covered. Depending on volunteer efforts, light refreshments can be organised.

Friday Night Smash provides a weekly in-house junior matchplay program at the same venue (Eaglemont Tennis Club) which gives juniors at the club (and locally) an opportunity to participate in a structured, weekly competition that consists of a singles and doubles each week against players of a similar age group, level, and UTR. The program is run and overseen by two of the most experienced coaches in Victoria, Shane Scrutton & Dave King, and now has 25 players playing at the club in 2 matchplay divisions.
