The 2024 Pennant Season highlighted everything great about tennis in Victoria.
The spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and competition is a testament to the importance of Pennant in bringing tennis players across the region together.
The weekend of September 14 – 15 saw the conclusion of the Tennis Victoria Pennant Season with all remaining grand finals played and premierships awarded.
Due to heavy rain, the women’s matches were postponed from Saturday morning to Sunday morning. And after delays at all three venues, Royal South Yarra, Grace Park Hawthorn and Beaumaris Lawn Tennis Club, the men’s matches eventually got underway. Thank you to all players on the day for their patience with the weather delays and persisting to finish the Men’s matches on Saturday.
As the curtain closes, we would like to congratulate all players who took part this year and the stakeholders that enabled us to deliver this success.
