Congratulations to Tamara Cleine from Main Ridge Tennis Club who is the Community Champion of the Month for September 2023.  

An integral and valuable member of the Main Ridge Tennis Club committee, Tamara has been the Junior Coordinator for the past 5 years. She has also recently taken on the role of Treasurer and is the club’s dedicated Safety Officer.  

Tamara is involved with all aspects of tennis: club, community, association, and liaising with council. In the last financial year Tamara almost single handedly tripled the club’s sponsorships, increasing visibility and engagement with the community and of course improving the club’s financial position. Large signs have been placed on the fences surrounding the courts to promote these partnerships. 

As the Junior Coordinator, Tamara makes herself available to players and parents alike to help nurture them through the years of junior tennis.  

Tamara’s commitment and enthusiasm to all aspects of tennis ensure that the Main Ridge Tennis Club is thriving.
