Congratulations to Drossos Haramantas from East Camberwell Tennis Club who is the Community Champion of the Month for July 2023.  

Drossos has served as the Treasurer of East Camberwell TC for many years. He diligently manages the finances of the club, ensuring systems the club utilises provide a transparent and efficient way to report the club’s finances. He is also a member of the Tennis Victoria Audit & Risk Committee.  

Drossos also took on the important task of reviewing the club’s Safeguarding Children policies, ensuring the club is following best practices in this space.  

After attending the Tennis Victoria RAP launch, Drossos is keen to lead his club in creating a welcoming and safe environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants. He also lead the Risk Audit at the tennis club and engaged a consultant to develop the required documentation.  

Drossos is very receptive to new initiatives and maintains a strong relationship with Boroondara City Council.
