Congratulations to the July Affiliate of the Month, Charlton Lawn Tennis Club.  

With 16 beautiful lit up grasscourts and 2 hardcourts, the Charlton Lawn Tennis Club is one of, if not the oldest club in Australia, dating back to 1881.  

They host an annual tournament in January which this year featured carnival rides, fireworks and live music. They engage local sponsors and are supported by an amazing group of people and community on and off the court.  

In 2023 two of Charlton Lawn TCs royalty, Brian and Rae Heenan were recognised recently with the Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia for their contribution to tennis. Read about it here if you missed the news.
