The Brisbane International Festival of Tennis begins today on the Gold Coast!!

The Festival will visit a number of locations throughout region (details as below):

•  Tennis Gold Coast (Queens Park), 19 Queens St, Southport, Qld 4215 (Wednesday 10 October, 4.00 – 6.00 pm) 
• Breakpoint Tennis, Radisson Resort, Palm Meadows, Qld 4211 (Thursday 11 October, 4.00 – 6.00 pm)
• Brisbane International launch activation, Evandale Park (front area), Bundall, Gold Coast, (Friday 12 October 3pm – 6pm)

        ** Home and Away actor Luke Mitchell will make a special guest appearance at the Breakpoint Tennis opportunity on Thursday 11 October, 4.00 – 6.00 pm ** 

What fun activities will be available?

• Have a photo opportunity with the Brisbane International trophies – Roy Emerson Trophy (men’s singles) and Evonne Goolagong-Cawley Trophy (women’s singles)
• MLC Tennis Hot Shots – have a hit on the mini nets
• Facepainting
• FREE BBQ
• Cardio Tennis Showcase and Bursts
• Speed Serve – how fast can you serve?
• Get a photo with Terry the Tennis Ball
• Watch an exhibition match

2012 marks the second year of this FREE state-wide tour that provides regional communities an array of fun tennis activities for people of all ages and abilities.
