The JDS circuit hit Charters Towers on the weekend of June 16^th and 17^th.  The tournament was directed by local coach John Single.  John was thrilled with the great support of 34 local players who played the tournament.  A special mention was also made of the 40 players who travelled to Charters Towers for the weekend – from as far away as Hamilton Island, the Whitsundays and Prosperine.

Well done Kurtis West and Lara Campbell – winners of the Good Sport Award in Charters Towers.
