Priscilla Hon’s breakthrough week in Seoul ended on Friday with a quarterfinal loss to Richel Hogenkamp.

The Australian teen fell 6-3 6-4 in 75 minutes, bringing her four-match winning streak to a close.

Hon won two matches to qualify for the main draw before winning another two to advance to her first WTA quarterfinal.

Hogenkamp – ranked almost 200 places higher than the Queenslander – will in the semifinals meet Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia, who beat Sara Sorribes Tormo 6-4 6-4.

Hon, meanwhile, is projected to rise to a career high-ranking of No.234 next week.
