Nick Kyrgios says he’s in the best mental headspace of his career and puts it all down to the ongoing support of his Davis Cup teammates.
The world No.16 will lead Australia in their quarterfinal tie against the United States on Friday at Brisbane’s Pat Rafter Arena on the back of a red-hot patch of form, making three semifinals and one quarter in his last four ATP Tour events.
“Where I’m at mentally, at the moment, I’m just competing for every point and playing hard and I haven’t really had that mindset before. I’m probably in the best place I’ve ever been in,” Kyrgios said in a team press conference today.
