Australia maintained their 100 per cent record in the ITF World Junior Tennis Asia / Oceania Final Qualifying event in Thailand, beating Indonesia 3-0 to ensure a place in the quarterfinals.

Having beaten Sri Lanka 3-0 in their opening tie, Australia prevailed by the same scoreline on the second day to guarantee at least a top two finish in Group D.

Casey Hoole’s 6-4 6-4 victory in the opening singles rubber was the ideal start, before Philip Sekulic maintained Australia’s momentum with a 6-3 6-2 defeat of Azmi Januarsah.

Sekulic then partnered Edward Vo to beat their Indonesian counterparts 6-4 6-2 in the doubles rubber and ensure Australia would remain at the top of Group D.

Australia round out the group stages later today with a tie against fellow seeds and tournament hosts Thailand.
