For the second straight year, good form of the Pro Tour will translate into a trip to Melbourne Park for Australia’s best women.

An Australian Open main draw wildcard is the carrot for the best-performed Aussie woman at $50,000 events in Bendigo and Canberra.

In short, the Australian player who earns the most WTA ranking points across both events – provided they make the semifinals of at least one – will take their place in the main draw at Australian Open 2017.

A wildcard into Australian Open qualifying is the prize for the top performer across three $25,000 Pro Tour tournaments in Tweed Heads, Brisbane, Toowoomba and Cairns.

A main-draw doubles wildcard is also up for grabs for the Australian team who performs best in the doubles events in Bendigo and Canberra.
