Tickets for Australian Open 2014 and Australian Open Series events – the Hyundai Hopman Cup, Brisbane International, Apia International Sydney, Hobart International and World Tennis Challenge in Adelaide – will go on sale from 9am today (Wednesday 2 October).

Here’s what you can do to secure your tickets to some of the world’s best sporting action.

Australian Open 2014

The year’s first Grand Slam tournament will be staged on 13-26 January, and will see one of the strongest possible playing fields assemble at Melbourne Park to compete for significant prizemoney and prestige.

Series packages for Australian Open go on sale to the general public from Wednesday 2 October at 9am (AEST) until Monday 7 October at 5pm (AEST). On Tuesday 8 October from 9am (AEST), single session tickets and ground passes go on sale to the general public.

Hyundai Hopman Cup

This is the world’s only official international mixed teams event, and brings together some of the biggest stars in tennis who will battle it out at the glittering new Perth Arena, which made its debut for the 2013 event. This year, there will be especially big interest in the Australian team of Sam Stosur and Bernard Tomic, and Polish duo Agnieszka Radwanska and Jerzy Janowicz.

For the general public, tickets go on sale on the following dates:

Series Packages – Wednesday 2 October at 9am to Monday 7 October 5pm (local time)

Single session tickets and ground passes – from Tuesday 8 October at 9am (local time)

The 2014 Hopman Cup will be held from 28 December 2013 to 4 January 2014.

Brisbane International

In its five-year history, the Brisbane International has attracted an increasing number of the sport’s biggest names. Swiss legend Roger Federer has confirmed his participation for the 2014 event, to be staged from 29 December 2013 through to 5 January 2014.

Brisbane International tickets go on sale to the general public on the following dates:

Apia International Sydney

The Apia International Sydney, to be staged from 5-11 January 2014, gives the world’s best some valuable match practice before they head to Melbourne Park for the year’s first Grand Slam the following week.

And beginning today, you can access your tickets to see some of the biggest names fine-tuning their games ahead of the Australian Open. The general public can buy:

  • series packages from Wednesday 2nd October at 9am until Tuesday 8th October at 5pm
  • single session tickets from Wednesday 9th October at 9am.

And there are some exciting new initiatives for 2014, including that everyone who buys an Apia International Sydney ticket will secure a reserved seat on Ken Rosewall Arena – the tournament’s centre court – and access to seating on all outside match courts.

There are three seating options on Ken Rosewall Arena:

Platinum – a reserved shaded canopy box seat in Ken Rosewall Arena, coming with an official event program and gift.

Gold – a reserved Ken Rosewall Arena seat in your chosen location; available for all 10 sessions.

Silver – a Ken Rosewall Arena experience in designated zones during early-round action (Sunday through Tuesday); this replaces the ground pass at an extremely affordable price.

And for families and budding young players, a new child admission price has been introduced in 2014; just $10 all week and a remarkable $15 for finals.

Moorilla Hobart International

This WTA International event boasts an impressive roster of former champions, including Kim Clijsters, Alicia Molik and Petra Kvitova.
