Rain has interrupted the start of the Optus 14s Australian Teams Championships finals at Melbourne Park, which will now be completed on Sunday.

Persistent rain caused havoc with Saturday’s schedule, meaning the finals will now be played on Sunday.
In the girls’ event, top seeds Queensland will take on third seeds Western Australia who upset the second-seeded team from New South Wales in the semifinals on Friday. The Queenslanders are the favourites to lift the Mary Hawton Trophy
While in the boys’ event, No.1 seeds New South Wales will have to overcome the boys from New Zealand if they are to win the Sproule Stephens Trophy.

They are in for a fight though as the New Zealanders, led by Kyle Butters, upstaged fourth seeds Victoria to book their spot in today’s final.
