Jarmila Gajdosova has moved into the second round at Wimbledon after beating Alona Bondarenko while Anastasia Rodionova was ousted by Andrea Hlavackova.

The 27th seeded Gajdosova is the only remaining Australian player in the women’s singles after registering a 7-5 6-3 victory over her Ukrainian opponent.

If Rodionova won, it would’ve set up an all Aussie clash in the second round but instead Gajdosova will next play Hlavackova of the Czech Republic.

Rodionova was knocked out in straight sets 6-1 6-2 by Hlavackova.

The world No.99 picked apart Rodionova’s faltering serve to win in 53 minutes out on court six.
