Tennis West continuously aims to provide our affiliates with meaningful support that enables clubs to be vibrant and sustainable places to play tennis.

The Operational Health Check is a great tool that tracks how your club is performing, providing vital data from which we can offer feedback and assist with action planning for the year ahead. Further benefits of participating include:

  • Showing how your venue performs against national averages
  • Comparing your previous year results (as applicable)
  • Highlighting areas of strength, areas to monitor and priorities
  • Proving data for strategic and business planning; and
  • Evidencing / reporting on performance to stakeholders.

The data is also used to benchmark the quality of tennis facilities across Australia and influences national, state and local priorities and research. Therefore, making the Operational Health Check part of your annual review and planning process will not only form part of the national benchmarks, but help with the long term development and sustainability of your club.

The survey and instructions are available from the Tennis Australia website – http://www.tennis.com.au/clubs/venue-management. The collection and management of data is undertaken confidentially by Uni SA as an expert independent contractor, therefore individual club or facility information cannot be accessed by any other party.

Once data has been submitted, your club will be sent a certificate of completion and individual report within 2-4 weeks.
