17 October 2023 | Tennis Victoria

It was a fantastic weekend of results for Victorian tennis players at the 2023 Victorian State Championships (PWII & DHoH).

Victorian Tyler McPherson was up against South Australian Christopher Pavlis in the final winning 6-4 , 6-2 to defend his title won last year.

The women’s final saw another battle between SA and Victorian athletes with South Australia’s Adrianna Petrakis defeating Victoria’s Carla Lenarduzzi 6-2, 7-5.  The result was a reversal of last month’s SA Championships where Lenarduzzi was victorious over Petrakis. Petrakis and Lenarduzzi later paired to take out the women’s doubles title.

The Div 2 men’s singles was won by Victoria’s Luke Trethowan 7-5 over Cormac Skinner.
