Tennis Victoria Pennant
Tennis Victoria Pennant is Australia’s largest inter-club league and is back again in 2025.
Pennant facilitates a high -level competition in a team-based environment. This competition caters for both singles & doubles-based matches for grassroots, aspirational and elite players. With over 400 teams, 140 clubs and over 3500 players participating at varying levels, there is always a grade and competition for all players within Melbourne to participate in.
State Grade has now been played for the past two years in Tennis Victoria Pennant, which provides an aspirational pathway for high-performance juniors and semi-professional players. With both Kooyong Men and Women’s teams emerging victorious in 2024, who will emerge victorious in the 2025 edition?

There has been some further rule changes and adjustments made to Tennis Victoria Pennant, the ‘UTR Playing Order’ rule and #1 rated doubles playing needing to adhere to playing in the #1 doubles rubber. For a list of all changes as well as FAQ’s, please see the 2025 Rule Changes and FAQ Document.
