23 October 2025 | Tennis Victoria

The second Victorian Para-Standing Open was held at Tennis World Albert Reserve on 18–19 October 2025, building on the huge success of last year’s inaugural event. With a 25% increase in entries, the tournament showcased the exciting growth of the Para Standing Tennis (PST) pathway in Victoria.

Para Standing Tennis provides opportunities for players with a disability who don’t use a wheelchair to compete on an even playing field. Players are grouped into five classifications based on their mobility, which determines how many bounces are allowed during play, from one bounce for PST 1 and PST 2, through to three bounces for PST 5.

The weekend featured not only thrilling competition across three singles divisions and an open doubles draw, but also a Come & Try session on Saturday, inviting new players to experience the sport in a supportive and welcoming environment.
