
Tennis Victoria is pleased to announce the recipients of our Venue Improvement Grants for 2025. To further support Victorian tennis venues, Tennis Victoria is proud to continue to provide some financial support to affiliates to support the maintenance and improvement of tennis playing spaces. Tennis Victoria received a surplus of applications, which is a testament to our affiliates dedication to creating thriving tennis communities.
Touching on the grants, Tennis Victoria CEO Kim Kachel said, “It’s incredibly encouraging to see such strong interest in this year’s Venue Improvement Grants, with a high number of applications received from clubs across the state. This shows just how committed our affiliates are to maintaining safe, inclusive and accessible places to play. Through this program, we’re proud to support their efforts to strengthen local tennis communities to help more people play tennis, more often.”
To give some context, here are the figures for this year’s Venue Improvement Grants:
Total number of applications received – 212
Total number of applications funded – 84
Total amount of funding requested – $446,970
Total amount of funding awarded -$152,479 (increased from original amount of $125,000)
