The nominations are now open for the 2024 Victorian Community Tennis Awards!

Formerly the Victorian Tennis Awards, and now the Victorian Community Tennis Awards, the purpose is still the same – reward and recognise the contribution and achievement of worthy contributors to tennis in Victoria.

The event has made a move to May, in line with National Volunteers Week and will be a celebration of grassroots tennis. The categories to be announced and presented on Thursday 23 May include:

  • Most Outstanding Club or Centre
  • Volunteer Achievement
  • Coaching Excellence – Club or Centre
  • Most Outstanding School
  • Most Outstanding Tournament
  • Excellence in Officiating
  • Most Outstanding Inclusion Initiative
  • Supporting Tennis – Local Government Award

Nominations are welcome from the Victorian Tennis community. All nomination forms and criteria can be found on the Victorian Community Tennis Awards page.

Where relevant, winners of Victorian Community Tennis Awards are nominated for Victoria for the Australian Tennis Awards to be presented at the Newcombe Medal in late 2024.

The awards that no longer feature on this night will move to the Tennis Victoria Player Awards in October where we will showcase the playing talent across Tennis Victoria competitions and on the National and International stage. These include Victorian Player of the Year, Junior Athlete of the Year, Most Outstanding Athlete with a Disability, Most Outstanding 35+ Tennis Master and Coaching Excellence – Development.
