Congratulations to Luke Missen (Vic) on winning the PST 4 category and Remi Foster (Vic) on winning the PST 3 category in the Oceania Para-Standing Tennis Championship on Sunday 21 January at Grace Park Hawthorn Club.

Luke is from Eagle Point, East Gippsland and is a Tennis Australia Trainee Coach member after completing a Community Coaching Course recently in Bairnsdale.

Remi, 12, has been playing tennis for six years and is continuing to excel in the sport. Remi is from Melbourne, Victoria and plays tennis in Kew.

Players competed in one of four categories, depending on whether they were short-statured, have cerebral palsy, an acquired brain injury, or limb deficiencies or loss. Across the 4 categories, competitors resided from Australia, Chile, Brazil, USA, UK, Japan and New Zealand.

Luke has a strong sporting background and has previously twice competed in the World Dwarf Games (held every four years) in soccer, badminton and basketball.
