While the world’s best tennis players take over Melbourne Park at the Australian Open, Tennis Victoria is looking ahead towards the largest grass court tournament in the world, Tennis Victoria Country Week.

In the 2024 edition of this much-loved tournament, 222 teams and over 1300 players have registered to participate in Wodonga from 11 – 16 February 2024.

In anticipation of the 2024 tournament, Tennis Victoria is pleased to announce the 2025 venue for Tennis Victoria Country Week, which will return to Swan Hill Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club from 9 – 14 February 2025.

Swan Hill Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is the only Country Week venue that can host all 100 grass courts on one site and is a favourite among many Country Week players.

Tennis Victoria Interim CEO Tamatha Harding was pleased to see Country Week returning to Swan Hill. “We last took Country Week to Swan Hill in 2022 following the 2021 cancellation of the event due to the snap statewide COVID lockdown. The team at Swan Hill always put in a huge effort to support this event and we can’t wait to return to the region. We thank the Swan Hill Rural City Council for supporting the tennis Club and this event.”

Swan Hill Rural City Council Mayor Stuart King said “Country Week 2025 will be in Swan Hill in 2025 at the magnificent Swan Hill Lawn Tennis Club. We love hosting Country Week in Swan Hill, it brings people in, (impacts) economic activity and social activity and it’s a great testament to the great work that the volunteer organization of the Swan Hill Lawn Tennis Club can do. We get to showcase what Swan Hill is all about.”

Swan Hill Club President Christian Devlin said “As a club, we really think that it’s the home of Country Week. I think a lot of people feel like they’re coming home when they come to (Swan Hill) Country Week. 2025 will be a big year.

Registrations for Tennis Victoria Country Week 2025 in Swan Hill will open after the completion of the 2024 edition.
