The Alicia Molik Cup is coming to Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club with some of Victoria’s brightest young stars ready to hit the red porous courts on the 2nd and 3rd of December.

Being one of Tennis Victoria’s three statewide teams events, the Alicia Molik Cup is a representative opportunity for the best boys and girls aged 12 years and under to represent their association or region.

“We wish everyone involved in the Alicia Molik Cup all the best for the weekend. This is a historic event, providing a great opportunity for our states best boys and girls aged 12 and under to represent their region and associations.

“We thank Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club and the Kooyong Foundation for their ongoing support and hosting this special event”, Tournaments Operations Manager, Scott Johnson, said.

The round robin event will see 16 Country Regions and Metro associations compete in four (4) round robin groups. Following the round robin on Saturday, the final and playoffs will be played on Sunday.

“It’s a great opportunity for some of the best 12 and under players across the state to come down to the spiritual of Australian tennis, many for the first time, and display their skills in an enjoyable team environment”  said Kooyong Foundation Talent Manager, David Bidmeade.

Each round will consist of four singles matches and two mixed doubles matches played across two days of competition.
