Tennis Victoria is excited to be working together with Regional Sport Victoria (RSV) as part of its Stride into Sport campaign ahead of the upcoming summer sporting season.

The campaign – which first commenced 12 months ago and was successfully rolled out through winter this year, is designed to help our clubs with boosting player, volunteer, coaching and officiating registrations.

We know how difficult it has been for our clubs to attract numbers back into the fold since COVID-19, and the program has grown to help further boost local opportunities.

And that is why together with other Victorian sporting organisations we are working with RSV to help get people involved this summer.

CEO of Tennis Victoria, Adam Crameri said that it was important to showcase the opportunities that we have available to people to get involved.

“Tennis Victoria is excited to work with Regional Sport Victoria to drive participation through our local clubs,” he said.

“Our purpose at Tennis Victoria is to create safe, inclusive and thriving tennis communities enabling more people to play more often. Partnering with Regional Sport Victoria on the Stride into Sport campaign supports our purpose.”

“Stride into Sport is bringing people together through sport, fostering a sense of community by making tennis more accessible and inclusive across Regional Victoria”

Speaking about the importance of junior sport participation in regional Victoria, RSV Executive Officer Meghan Mayman said that it was wonderful working with RSA’s and State Sporting Organisations to help boost participation opportunities through regional communities.

“We are all aware of the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle, and we are keen to share the opportunities to get involved in sport within your local community,” she said.
