On Sunday 29 October, 2023 the Stonnington Sports Centre opened its doors to the community.

The Stonnington Sports Centre is a $49.9M facility located at Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park in Chadstone. The opening of the centre was a huge success with the local community showing their support and stopping by for the various ‘come and try’ sporting activations.

 “This $50M state of the art facility is multipurpose and multigenerational catering for a range of sports for young and older alike” - Dr Michelle Ananda- Rajah MP, Federal Member for Higgins & Stonnington Council Mayor

The investment resulted in a variety of sports being supported by Council including tennis. Chadstone Tennis Club will now call the Stonnington Tennis Centre home. Originally formed in 1958 the club now has:

• Seven new tennis courts (Synthetic clay surface)
• Lighting for night tennis
• Perimeter fence with access gates
• One show court with spectator seating

Chadstone Tennis Club will be supported by Michael Logarzo’s ML Tennis program providing coaching services to the Club.
