The Australian Tennis Foundation is pleased to launch the first round of the Opportunity Knocks’ Program, a tennis subsidy program aimed at providing financial support for young people aged 5-17 who may not have the means to continue their tennis journey.
Funding of up to $400 per person per year for coaching fees and an additional $100 per person per year for club membership and/or competition fees is available.
Please share the attached guidelines with your field staff to pass on to coaches and/or schools participating in tennis programs to target eligible families.
There are a limited number of subsidies available per round, with two rounds planned for the year – one for Semester 1 (terms 1 & 2) and one for Semester 2 (terms 3&4). Budgets will be split between bushfire and non-bushfire affected areas.
Applications can be made online via this link: https://tennis.smartygrants.com.au/ATFOK2022SEM1
This program responds to the need to support young people with financial barriers and the Australian Tennis Foundation’s mission of inspiring brighter futures for young people through tennis.
