12 months ago, Barwon Tennis Region lifted the trophy for the 65th Inter-Regional Championships in Warrnambool, ending the 4th straight Inter-Regional win by the Goulburn region.

Fast forward 12 months and seven other Country Regions, including Goulburn are ready to chase down the Barwon Region as they embark on Horsham this weekend!

Who should we be looking out for this weekend?

The strength of Barwon will be boosted by Nicole Mullen – who has a UTR of 8.69 and James Brushfield – who has a UTR of 10.96.

Goulburn will be looking to re-capture their form which saw them win 4 championships in a row to close the 2010s! Their campaign will be boosted by Eliza Long (UTR 9.14) and David Poole (UTR 10.02).

 

Some other players to watch are Loddon Campaspe’s Isabella Crossman (UTR 8.31), Central Highlands James O’Sullivan (UTR 10.88) and East Gippsland’s Mitchell Allman (UTR 10.94).
