The Wayne Arthurs Cup is coming to Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club with some of the state’s young stars ready to tackle the red porous courts this weekend.

Being one of Tennis Victoria’s nine Regional Team Events, the Wayne Arthurs Cup is a representative tennis competition for boys and girls aged 10 years and under.

The round robin tournament, open to Tennis Victoria country regions and metropolitan associations, will this year see 15 Tennis Victoria regions and associations with 60 players participating.

Each round will consist of four singles matches and two mixed doubles matches played across two days of competition.

Following the round robin on Saturday, the final and playoffs will be played on Sunday.

Tennis Victoria Acting CEO, Adam Crameri is excited for the opportunity that the Wayne Arthurs Cup brings to young tennis players around Victoria.
