Alison joined Wantirna Tennis Club in 1983. She is the Wantirna Tennis Club Secretary a role that she has held continuously for 27 years and was awarded Life Membership in 2003 in recognition of the services to the club and the Wantirna community.

  • Club Secretary
  • Eastern Region Tennis club delegate
  • Waverley District Tennis Association club delegate
  • Alternate club representative for Tennis Victoria and Tennis Knox
  • Knox City Council contact officer
  • Junior convenor
  • Social secretary/organiser
  • Fund raising organisation

Alison is a leader at the Wantirna Tennis Club, her drive and enthusiasm are unparalleled as she sets a high bench mark for all committee members and club volunteers to achieve. She is the key “go to person” for membership recruiting, fund raising, co-ordination of tournaments and club house duties. Alison is also a key link with local council members and state and federal politicians.

Alison has a love for the Wantirna Tennis Club its members and the local community, with a particular focus on Junior and Ladies tennis at the club for both playing and nonplaying ladies with social events. She is a key communicator within the club from new members to Life Members, Alison is always promoting events and the club to keep everyone connected.
