Tennis Victoria are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2016 Victorian Tennis Awards, to be presented at Tennis Victoria’s Championships Dinner on Monday, 27 June.

Now in its fifth year, the Victorian Tennis Awards include the coveted Most Outstanding Club, Centre or Association award as well as awards for Volunteer Achievement, Coaching Excellence, Most Outstanding School, Most Outstanding Tournament and Junior Athlete of the Year.

The awards have gained industry recognition, with last year’s Most Outstanding Club, Mt Eliza Tennis Club, subsequently becoming finalists at the national Newcombe Medal / Australian Tennis Awards and also the Victorian Sport and Recreation Awards.

For the first time, Local Government Area’s will also be recognised with the introduction of a Supporting Tennis – Local Government Award. Finalists for this award will be announced soon.
