The National Tennis Centre at Melbourne Park held the launch of the 2013 Premier’s Active Families Challenge on Sunday 27 January 2013.

Victorian Premier Ted Baillieu was joined by Minister for Sport and Recreation Hugh Delahunty as well as Australian tennis legend John Fitzgerald and the 2013 Australian Open junior boys’ champion Nick Kyrgios to officially launch the ‘thirty minutes, thirty days’ challenge.

Joined by MLC Tennis Hot Shots children and their parents, Premier Baillieu encouraged families to take up the active mantra of doing thirty minutes of physical activity over thirty days to help beat the obesity crisis.

Tennis Victoria is very proud to be a key supporter of the Premier’s Active Families Challenge in 2013.  The challenge is held from March 4 – April 14 2013.
