After cruising their way through the Asia-Pacific Tennis League Playoffs draw, the Liston Seagulls will face off against ATP Sydney in the final tonight from 5pm at Melbourne Park.

It will be a battle of the top two seeds in a fitting finale to what has been an enthralling competition.

Seagulls’ No.1 Sam Groth will face off against Adam Feeney in a contest that could go a long way in deciding the outcome of the championship.

“We play each other a lot, I think I beat him last time up in Alice Springs,” said Groth.

While the Seagulls will be brimming with confidence after two crushing wins, Groth said they weren’t underestimating the Sydney team.

“They are a team with great depth,” said Groth.

“I think that anything can happen tonight, all the matches will be pretty tight.

“They’ve got great depth like us and as we’ve seen things can turn around quickly in this format.”

The men’s final starts at 5pm on courts 10 and 12, while the women’s final will be held at the same time on courts 11 and 13. If you have a ground pass, come join the fun and watch some of the best Australian players in action and cheer on team Vic!
