After another outstanding Pennant season, Tennis Victoria is pleased to announce the winners of the 2012 Pennant Player of the Year.

Over 4000 players competed in the competition across all grades in 2012, and in many cases the winners competed against over 200 players.

“This award is a great way to recognise the outstanding season of a number of individual players,” said Tennis Victoria’s Competition Manager Jeff Downes.

“Across all grades of Pennant, there have been a number of outstanding individuals who have played consistently well all season and this is a great reward for these players.”

Andrew McLean from Royal South Yarra claimed the Men’s grade one Pennant Player of the Year award, while his teammate Conrad Lim was second.

On the women’s side, Masa Jovanovic, also from Royal South Yarra, won the Women’s grade one Pennant Player of the Year, while youngster Destanee Aiava, from Kooyong Lawn, was second.
