One of Victoria’s most historic junior tennis events is back this summer, 2025 Victorian School Boys and School Girls Championships, running 15–19 December across multiple premier venues in metropolitan Melbourne.

For years, this tournament has been a highlight on the junior calendar, giving players from across the state the chance to compete, connect, and celebrate the end of the school year through tennis.

• This event has been delivered for generations, making it one of the most prestigious junior tournaments in Victoria
• This event will re-introduce 64 draws back into Competitive Play
• With participation from hundreds of young players, it’s a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your tennis skills

Event details

Date: 15–19 December 2025
Venues: Multiple locations across Metro Melbourne

Age Groups:

• Primary School (Years 3–6)
• Middle School (Years 7–9)
• High School (Years 10–12)

Entries are based on the school year just completed in 2025.

Tournament Draws:

• Singles: 64-player draw, elimination (Match play for Round 1 only)
  • Two (2) tiers for Primary School
  • Two (2) tiers for Middle School
  • One (1) tier for High School
• Doubles: 32-player draw, elimination (no match play)
