What is the Junior Development Series?

The Junior Development Series (JDS) is a tournament circuit specifically designed for players of a beginner to intermediate level. Each tournament allows players to experience crucial competitive match play and skill development opportunities.

The Junior Development Series will continue to use the UTR system for all events.  This means that all events will contribute to a players UTR with rating-based and age group-based events.

Who are these tournaments for?

The JDS is designed to give players their first experience in playing a series of tournaments throughout the year.

Entry Requirements

Must be 17 years or younger as at 31/12/2025

Must have completed your Competitive Player Profile

Must be registered through UTR

All entries via the Tennis Australia Tournaments website
