UNCLOUD Victorian State Teams Championships Partnership

Tennis Victoria is proud to partner with UNCLOUD for the Victorian State Teams Championships, the pinnacle of junior team tennis in the state. Bringing together the best young players, families, coaches, and clubs from across metro and regional Victoria, the event provides a high-performance, health-focused environment to showcase tennis while placing an anti-vaping message at its centre. Through naming rights, digital channels and on-site activation, Tennis Victoria and UNCLOUD will raise awareness of vaping harms, connect families to trusted support, and drive lasting community impact.

What is the UNCLOUD Victorian State Teams Championships?

The UNCLOUD Victorian State Teams Championships is the grand slam of junior team tennis in our state. The best players from across Victoria will represent their association/region to compete for age-based state titles. The Pat Cash Cup is awarded to the overall winning association/regional team.

Summary of UNCLOUD Victorian State Team Championships

  • Affiliated Metropolitan Association and Country Regions are eligible to enter teams
  • Age groups are 12/u, 14/u and Junior Open Boys and Girls
  • 2 players make up a team in each match.
  • Matches consist of 2 x Singles rubbers playing one set to 8, with a tie break and 7 games all and 1 x gender doubles rubber playing one set to 6, with a tie-break at 6 games all. All doubles matches are ‘no ad’ deuce.

How to players qualify to play UNCLOUD Victorian State Teams Championships

Country Region Qualifying Criteria

Players are required to represent their region in a minimum of one of the following three Country Region Events within the 12 months prior to the 2026 UNCLOUD Victorian State Teams Championships

  • RTE #1 – April 2025
  • RTE #2 – October 2025
  • Inter-Regional Country Championships – January 2026

Players must qualify through the above events and represent the same region at UNCLOUD Victorian State Teams Championships.

Metro Association Qualifying Criteria

Players are required to represent their association in a minimum of three (3) of ten (10) matches in their Association Junior Pennant (AJP) season preceding the 2025/26 UNCLOUD Victorian State Teams Championships.

Players must play AJP and UNCLOUD Victorian State Teams Championships for the same association.

Exemptions

Any exemptions to the above criteria, need to be received in writing via by TBC.
