Advita Dinesh
As a new official, Advita has already faced challenging situations while court supervising. Rather than being discouraged, she has used these experiences to develop her skills and confidence, showing strong respect for both the sport and officiating.
Her approach is grounded in humility. She recognises that officiating is a continuous learning process and actively seeks information to support her decision-making, demonstrating integrity in her role. This mindset has contributed to her recent selection into the Chair Umpire Development Program, reflecting her commitment to ongoing growth.
At events, Advita creates a positive and welcoming environment for both officials and players. She takes a player-centred approach and works collaboratively with officiating teams and Tennis Australia to ensure smooth and supportive event delivery.
She regularly officiates at Competitive Play grassroots events, where she is committed, reliable, and well-prepared. Her engagement extends beyond events, as she attends officiating forums at Tennis HQ to further her development.
As a developing official herself, Advita connects well with new officials, offering encouragement and support. Her approachable nature and teamwork make her a valued member of the officiating community.
Alastair Fleming
Alastair is a consistent contributor across multiple levels of officiating, from Competitive Play grassroots events through to ITF Juniors and Pro Tour tournaments. He regularly performs the role of referee and demonstrates strong integrity, humility, and respect in his work, with a clear focus on creating positive experiences for players and officials.
In his role as referee, Alastair prioritises preparation and communication. He ensures all officials feel welcomed before arriving at events and takes the time to confirm they understand expectations and key information. His approachable and supportive manner encourages officials to seek guidance when needed, helping create a confident and collaborative working environment.
Alastair remains strongly committed to grassroots officiating. He regularly applies for and is selected to work at Competitive Play events and maintains close communication with the Tennis Australia Officiating team. He shows initiative by addressing potential issues early, contributing to smooth event delivery and a positive experience for both players and officials.
He is also highly involved in officiating development pathways, regularly supporting the training of new court supervisors, line umpires, and referees. Alastair is open to new approaches and adapts his delivery to suit different groups. This has been evident in his involvement with the 2025 Line Umpire Development Program, where he effectively implemented and delivered updated program changes.
Through his reliability, leadership, and willingness to support others, Alastair plays an important role in strengthening the officiating community.
Anton Zambzhytski
Anton is a consistent and highly valued presence at events, known for his professionalism, collaboration, and commitment to excellence both on and off court. He approaches every event with a strong work ethic and a clear focus on performing at his best, while also contributing positively to the wider officiating team.
He is a supportive team member who actively shares his knowledge and skills, regularly offering assistance to other officials. Anton creates an open environment where developing officials feel comfortable seeking guidance, and he is proactive in encouraging new people to get involved in officiating, particularly during events such as APS competitions.
Anton’s reliability is evident in his willingness to step in at short notice when events are under-resourced. Feedback from referees highlights his readiness to assist without hesitation or expectation of recognition, ensuring events run smoothly and teams are well supported. His enthusiasm and positive attitude consistently contribute to a strong working and playing environment.
His commitment extends to grassroots officiating, including supporting regional events and assisting with logistics such as carpooling officials. These actions demonstrate his understanding of the challenges at this level and his willingness to contribute wherever needed.
Anton is also actively involved in officiating development across the court supervisor, line umpire, and chair umpire pathways. He is known for his positive and approachable style, helping new officials feel welcomed and supported. His feedback is constructive and development-focused, helping officials build confidence and capability in managing more complex situations.
He embraces new opportunities for growth, recently contributing as a CRIONET Statistician at the Billie Jean King Cup in Melbourne. Anton’s consistent effort, initiative, and support for others make him a strong contributor to the officiating community.
