23 April 2024 | Tennis Victoria

The Tennis Victoria League Championships for 2024 concluded with resounding success, building upon the momentum of its inaugural edition in 2023.

This year’s tournament witnessed an expansion of the format, introducing a qualifying weekend that welcomed a record number of teams to compete for the prestigious title of ‘League Champions.’

Congratulations are in order for all the winners and finalists who showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Your dedication and passion for the game have truly shone bright on the courts.

A special shoutout goes to the 70 teams that participated across the two weekends, bringing their A-game and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the event. Your enthusiasm and commitment to tennis are commendable, and we applaud your efforts in making the tournament a memorable one.

The qualifying weekend, held at both Dendy Park and the newly inaugurated Monash Tennis Centre, provided the perfect stage for fierce competition and thrilling matches. Teams battled it out with determination and skill, vying for a spot in the Finals weekend and the chance to etch their names in tennis history.

As we looked forward to crowning the League Champions, we invited all competitors to join us for a Player Celebration Function on Saturday, 20th April, at the Royal South Yarra Lawn Tennis Club. It was an opportunity to come together, celebrate the achievements of the tournament, and cherish the camaraderie that made tennis such a special sport.

Once again, congratulations to all the winners, finalists, and participants of the 2024 Tennis Victoria League Championships. Your passion for the game fueled the spirit of tennis in Victoria, and we couldn’t wait to see what the future held for our tennis community.
